Dogs are allowed anywhere in the park on a six-foot leash and in the Paw Palygorund they can run free and swim in the Gulf of Mexico. There are cooling stations with showers and dog-level water fountains.
Honeymoon Island State Park
Dogs are welcome along the four miles of beautiful beaches on this Florida barrier island. They must however remain on a leash.
Belleair Bluffs Beach
The beach is located on the stretch of sand that lies to the south of the Belleair Beach Causeway Bridge at the east end, accessible under the high-level bridge from the boat ramp parking lot. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach.
Tucked away at the southern tip of St. Pete Beach, Pass-a-Grille Beach is the longest stretch of undeveloped beach in the area. Dogs are allowed on the bay beaches, including the beach by Merry Pier in Pass-a-Grille.
